Low 04:08
It's like the world is hard enough But you don't feel what I can It's like you keep up just for show And you can't see who I am It's not enough, I know It's not enough, I know It's like you're living there It's like you don't care You say the world keeps shaking you down But you don't know what's low It's like the world is hard enough But then you dream where I can't I try to lean into your slopes Where you don't fear what I can It's not enough, I know It's not enough, I know It's like you're living there The place you thought was low but you will never I try to lean into your slopes It's not enough, I know It's not enough, I know

Right On 03:22
When he sees me at the bar He says yo girl I'm so excited When he sees me at my car He says come on baby, says come on right on He's got to have it He's got my saying right on Try to protect it He's gotta have it yeah Look now you've made me so mad You're gonna know it so bad I'll draw blood to train regret So don't you come around here saying right on When he sees me at the show He says yo girl I'm so excited When he sees me walking home He says come on baby, says come on right on He's got the weapon He's got me saying right on Try to protect it He's gotta have it yeah Look now you've made me so mad You're gonna know it so bad He's got the weapon He's got me saying right on Try to protect it He's gotta have it yeah

For Sure 03:15 video
You don't know for sure Heave it up and don't know what to do with it So you hurt me more Can't apply the lesson where the truth begins We got so along I don't know what's wrong So you'll watch me go So you'll watch me go I mean it, I'm leaving So you'll watch me go You don't know for sure Beat it up and don't know what to do with it So insult me more Trail the lies then blow it where the truth begins We meant all there was Now I suck on flaws I don't know for sure Why I gave it more So you'll watch me go So you'll see me go I mean it, I'm leaving And you'll watch me go
4.
Start Over 03:43
I'll start over, just cos you can't Because you can't figure it out I'll start over, just cos you can't Because you can't make it out This feeling is a maze and I'm done It ceases to amaze so I'm done I'm done I'll start over, just cos you can't Because you can't figure it out This feeling is a maze and I'm done I'm done Well it's not over til we stop You think you suffer Not like I can Don't even notice How sick I am You think you suffer Don't even notice Well it's not over til I stop This feeling is a maze and I'm done It ceases to amaze so I'm done I'm done
5.
Away 03:14
My best friend, she cut me off It's not what I came for that fucks me up I need it to feed me every day This wasted past time takes me away My sister, she shut me out It's not what I came for that fucks me up I live it, gives to me every day This faded past time takes me away I suck in the context problem And I hate myself It fucks me up
6.
Sinking 02:36
Just gotta say the word And I will carry your pain Just gotta make it heard And I will hurt for your gain Just gotta say the word Just gotta ask and I'll do, I'll do This mood is so absurd It's got me shakin' Just gotta say the word And I will live for your pain Just gotta say the word Just gotta ask and I'll do, I'll do This mood is so absurd It's got me sinkin' Just gotta make it heard Just gotta speak and I'll do, I'll do This muse is absurd It's beauty thinkin' If you demand then I'll do, I'll do Just gotta say the word Just gotta breathe then I'll do, I'll do This logic's so absurd It's got me freakin' I guess I always knew We were too good to get mad, get it So good that we are bad So bad we're sinkin'
7.
The story it fails you as you try to spin the universe around you Struggling to filter the concepts through a sense of agreeableness The thing that should not be are alive for you The lives without places are removed from view You've got a distorted reality You've got a good vs evil fantasy Everything is dancing to avoid that fact Unebbing progeny sets collision right on track If you want to leave Earth so badly then you should go On that day I saw you fade into a memory Staring in reverie at photos of a swat team I heard you muttering that you think them from the past Because it appeals to your twisted sense of romance And that's how I know you want to go backwards in time Sink into nostalgia of a world with fewer lives Funny how the cancer shields it shape from your eyes Otherworldly motives governing our world with their intentions misaligned If you want to leave Earth so badly then you should go

Song 12 01:17
I want to forever be left alone
9.
Near the waves that breathe for me Feather and skin are the same Flies and foul and legs and arms All move and sing my name Even while I'm sitting still Still need to calm myself I'm turning green to red Sunday's are a death sentence Soon I'll eat and forget Following warm wind and sand Just to get back again I'm turning green to red We'll make the food chain Go up instead of down I'll stare at the sky for hours straight And feel more fulfilled than I feel today Greased hands across their mouth Drop out drop out drop out These days they will breathe forever Leathered skin and shame Feeling fouls and bleeding now All move and sing my name I'm turning green to red
10.
I went away when you weren't gone Was just so reckless And I still don't It's not so hard to blame myself Feels under pressure But it won't blow I'm not invited To your fun Was so excited You built the stakes around our home I'll splinter deadly To get it back The nights been spent spare me some day I'll claw forever Just to sunbathe I'm not invited To your fun Was so excited I'll see you in the morning You'll love me better then I'll see you in the morning You'll know me better then You'll know me better You'll know me better then Thought we were bigger I thought we were best friends I'll see you in the morning You'll hear me better then I'm so pathetic, I'm so pathetic yeah I'm reeling helpless I thought we were the end I'll see you in the morning I'll see you in the morning

about

Built from the ashes of a marriage gone sour, Philadelphia's LOW DOSE formed as an exercise in catharsis. Featuring the final lineup of cult noise-rock workhorses Fight Amp with the addition of vocalist Itarya Rosenberg of the late Legendary Divorce, LOW DOSE play heavy, grunge-tinged punk that is as visceral as it is infectious. Across their 35 minute, self-titled debut LP, the quartet bleed out ten emotionally fierce tracks, which deliver a loud/quiet/loud canvas for Rosenberg’s lyrics to lay bare the heartbreak and raw nerves of a broken relationship amidst rumbling bass, screeching guitar tones and dynamic drums that together signal the end of the world. LOW DOSE will surely hit all the right notes for those who enjoy the more melodic side of noise rock —especially fans of Metz, Uwound, Slint and early PJ Harvey.

"Philadelphia-based Low Dose’s self-titled album is a hard-hitting grunge album that feels at once straight out of the nineties and of an entirely new ilk."
- newnoisemagazine.com/review-low-dose-low-dose/ ( 4 / 5 )

"Low Dose’s refreshing debut, self-titled album contorts with emotional and musical harshness while letting the listener see a light at the end of a treacherous tunnel they might be all too familiar with."
- bit.ly/capturedhowls ( 5 / 5 )

"If you dig the brutal heaviness of 90s post-grunge and post-hardcore — think Mudhoney as much as L7, The Distillers as much as At The Drive-in — you’ll find much to like sonically in this ten-song set."
